Make sure it is in a page and NOT in a POST

If for some reason you cannot receive emails and they are not in your SPAM folder:

Install WP Mail SMTP or use the automatic install (WordPress 3.0 onwards) and configure it as follows:

Mailer: SMTP

SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com

SMTP Port: 465

Encryption: SSL

Authentication: Yes

Username: your gmail address

Password: your email password.
